Paul has been one of the moving parties in the implementation of Lexcel and IIP Quality Marks across the firm during the course of 2003 – 2007. He is mindful of the impact on staff and clients. “The speed of change can be alarming. The important thing is to maintain a good delivery of service to the clients.” More recently Paul was appointed as head of the firms residential conveyancing department. Living in Ipswich provides both a chance to relax and disengage from the office, on the way home, whilst the 7 miles of walking each day provides exercise. “The walk from Colchester station to the office is not really far enough….” At home, 20 years of spanish guitar now languishes for want of new guitar strings. A succession of French holidays has spurred him to spend three years learning French, sufficient to now get by. Paul and Yvonne’s three children are more talented, playing, respectively, trumpet, violin and tennis.
